This should be a good start to the new year of 2008 for our Suns. A win here would make it four straight, so that means the Suns will be trying for 5 in row for the next game. Seattle obviously isn't a good team, and they might be without both Chris Wilcox and Kevin Durant. During the last Phoenix and Seattle match-up, the Suns won 106-99 behind strong double-doubles from the big 3. Durant led Seattle's charge putting up 27 points and receiving praise from Raja Bell. Wilcox also had a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. This game's outcome: 121-92 without Wilcox/Durant or 116-107 with both of them (obviously both Phoenix wins).
As for player predictions (boy, these are fun): Four Phoenix starters (Nash, Stoudemire, Hill, and Marion) put up double-doubles with Hill and Marion nearly netting trip-doubles. Alando Tucker gets playing time contributing a little in all categories. As for Seattle, I do not believe Durant or Wilcox will play. Their next best player will be Jeff Green, who puts up a point-rebound double-double, although neither total exceeds 20.
UPDATE:
Durant is now listed as probable and Wilcox is probable. If they both play full minutes, I would expect a small double-double from Wilcox (closer to 10-10 than 15-15) and 20+ points from Durant. Greens numbers will also go down.
